P30 Lite - Which model do I need?
Huawei have released 3 different models of the P30 Lite. Without any real guide out there to show you how to identify these models, we thought we'd give it a go!
The three models are as follows:
P30 Lite (Old): Model code MAR-LX1A - Stock codes 02352R**
P30 Lite (NFC+32MP): Model code MAR-LX1M - Stock codes 02353P**
P30 Lite (New): Model code MAR-LX1B - Stock Codes 02353F**
These codes can be used to identify the three models. However, if you do not know the model code, you will have to open it up!
To tell the difference between the P30 Lite (Old) and P30 Lite (New) you have to look at the flex cable that runs behind the battery.
The old version will have a fatter and shorter connector:
The new version will have a thinner and longer connector:
To differentiate between the Old/New and the NFC+32MP versions you have to look at the camera frames.
The Old/New Versions will look like this:
The NFC+32MP Version will look like this:
Please note that some models need to be on the latest software version or they won't give a display.
We hope this little guide will make all of your P30 Lite headaches go away, we certainly had a few ourselves making it!
